Education & Training
I hold a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. I hold a Washington Mental Health Counselor license (LH 60734351), a National Certified Counselor (NCC) accreditation, a King County Sexual Minority Mental Health Specialist (SMMHS) certificate and am also licensed as a Washington State Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee (CO 60575910). I would describe myself as an Integrative therapist using different modalities for different clients/presenting issues. I employ Gestalt Arts Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Adlerian psychodynamic approaches, among others. I have worked extensively with clients in community mental health and substance use issues in downtown Seattle, working with LGBTQ adolescents and adults, homeless and lower income adults, along with Gay/Bi/Queer/Straight/Questioning men in my Seattle private practice.
